Apostle Rodney G. Brown is the anointed, visionary leader of Faith Dimension Church in Maylene, Alabama. Bishop Brown is the founding Pastor of Faith Dimension Church, Inc., A.D. 95.. God has blessed him with an amazing combination of diverse life experiences, which prepared him for his divine appointment at Faith Dimension Church.
Bishop Brown is joyously married to Lady Connie Brown and has two children, Austin and Indya Brown. His God-directed developmental path prepared him to handle the spiritual side of the church as well as the administrative and business sides.
Educationally, Bishop Brown earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Samford/ Faulkner University (Birmingham, AL). He earned a Master of Education from the University of Alabama at Birmingham with a concentration in Exceptional Education. In addition, Bishop Brown attended the University of Montevallo to obtain his Leadership Certificate in Administration which makes him eligible to become a school administrator.
Bishop Brown earned a Master in Divinity (Counseling) from Master’s International School of Divinity-Seminary & Bible College(Evansville, IN.) Bishop Brown has also been awarded an honorary doctorate from CICA-International University & Seminary, Orlando, Florida. In addition, Bishop Brown continues to work toward his doctorate in leadership from Friends International Christian University in Merced,CA.
Under the leadership of the late Bishop Jasper Roby, Bishop Brown received his elder’s ordination/license in the AOH Church of God in 1991. Bishop Brown was consecrated a Bishop in the Lord’s Church during the first AIA Conference 2015, Apostle Joseph Hamilton, Chief Celebrant. Bishop Brown is an educator in the Hoover City Schools in Hoover, Alabama. Bishop Brown has taught in the public school system for 23 years.
Bishop Brown’s voice articulates a Christ-centered, Bible-based message with relevance for the twenty-first century with clarity, precision, and conciseness. He uses a variety of sources to support his viewpoints. He uses quotations from Greek philosophers, African folktales, and contemporary sporting events in various sentences. His gifted preaching tackles the difficulties and issues of today and offers biblical solutions in an upbeat, encouraging manner.

Isaiah 61:1-2, “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me; because the Lord hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek, he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound; to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord,” is the verse that best conveys Bishop Brown’s ministry.
